Rep. BiedermannAustin, TX (12/05/17) — Fredericksburg small business owner and State Representative, Kyle Biedermann, filed for reelection on Friday for the Texas House of Representatives House District 73 (Comal, Gillespie, and Kendall counties).

Kyle Biedermann is an Ace Hardware Dealer and a Christian Conservative. Now finishing his first term, Biedermann is proven as a pro-life and pro-second amendment champion, and supports a limited government, property tax reform, and a secure border.

“Two years ago when I launched my campaign, I said I would restore conservative representation from District 73 to the Texas House. While working hard to represent all of my constituents, and even reaching across the aisle on issues like water, funding for foster care, combating the opioid epidemic and education reform, my campaign promise to be a rock solid conservative leader has been kept. I am pleased to announce that I was recently and independently ranked as the 8th most conservative legislator in the State (out of 150). This district deserves, and now has, a conservative champion fighting for them everyday of the year, not just during campaign season,” said Rep. Biedermann.

A consensus builder who rolls up his sleeves and works hard with local leaders, Biedermann has been busy reaching out to all of his constituents. The townhalls and public meetings didn’t end once Rep. Biedermann was victorious on election day. Since being elected, and again keeping true to his promise to remain accessible, Kyle has hosted numerous roundtables and discussions, open to the public, to discuss the issues that are important to them.

Outside of delivering on his conservative agenda at the Capitol, Kyle has also worked hard on issues including local water rights, protecting the Alamo, TCEQ permitting regulations of rock quarries and real solutions to combat rising property taxes. Kyle said, “through my citizen advisory councils I have able to communicate with working families, seniors, small business owners and all of the hard working taxpayers of this district. We have accomplished a great deal, but there is still much to be done!”

On the core conservative issues, such as the sanctity of life, illegal immigration, the second amendment and a balanced budget, Representative Biedermann has been busy in his first session. “As soon as I was elected, I hit the ground running to develop as many relationships and meet all of my fellow legislators. Building relationships based upon mutual respect while maintaining my conservative principles, I have been able to deliver tangible results.”

A member of the Freedom Caucus, State Representative Kyle Biedermann was named a “Courageous Conservative” by the Texas Conservative Coalition, and has proudly received the endorsements of: Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, Texas Right to Life, Grassroots America – We The People, and Texas Values Action.

“We look forward to the next few months. A promise made was a promise kept and if honored to be re-elected to represent the great people of District 73 and the State of Texas, I will continue to be that proven and rock solid conservative leader while reaching across the aisle, when appropriate, to deliver on issues important to all of my constituents,” added Biedermann.
