State Rep Elect Biedermann Prepares For 85th Legislative Session, Details Goals

Austin, TX (12/26/16) —  State Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Elect Kyle Bie­der­mann recent­ly took part in Fresh­man Leg­isla­tive Ori­en­ta­tion at the State Capi­tol in Austin, TX. The 85th Leg­isla­tive ses­sion is set to begin on Jan­u­ary 10, 2017 when Bie­der­mann is offi­cial­ly sworn into office.

Bie­der­mann ran a Con­ser­v­a­tive issue ori­ent­ed cam­paign and is excit­ed to rep­re­sent the con­stituents of the Texas House Dis­trict 73 as he heads to the State Capi­tol in January.

“I was hon­ored to be elect­ed by the res­i­dents of this dis­trict and I am eager and excit­ed to get to work! We have been busy assem­bling a won­der­ful team, putting togeth­er cit­i­zen advi­so­ry coun­cils and prepar­ing for the upcom­ing leg­isla­tive ses­sion,” said Kyle Bie­der­mann. “As more folks move to Texas, and as this dis­trict grows, we need to be vig­i­lant in pro­tect­ing life, the con­sti­tu­tion, our econ­o­my and our very way of life. I am hon­ored to be your State Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Elect and I am ded­i­cat­ed to keep­ing Texas free and prosperous.”

Bie­der­mann has pledged to keep his cam­paign promis­es and stick to his Con­ser­v­a­tive Pri­or­i­ties, including:

  • Find­ing real solu­tions that will give us clean, afford­able water for generations,
  • Secure and pro­tect our bor­der and end Sanc­tu­ary Cities,
  • Pro­tect­ing our reli­gious free­doms and the sanc­ti­ty of life,
  • Shrink­ing the size of gov­ern­ment and prop­er­ty tax reform,
  • Pass a bal­anced bud­get that will strength­en the Texas Economy,
  • Proac­tive­ly defend and pro­mote our right to bear arms,
  • End the del­uge of unfund­ed state man­dates on our schools and communities,
  • Adamant­ly pro­tect our pri­vate prop­er­ty rights.

Look­ing for­ward to proac­tive­ly work­ing with cit­i­zens and local elect­ed offi­cials, Kyle is also encour­ag­ing con­stituents to join his Leg­isla­tive Advi­so­ry Coun­cils on issues rang­ing from Water and Vet­er­ans Affairs to Bor­der Secu­ri­ty and Tourism. Kyle has set up over a dozen advi­so­ry coun­cils that he has already begun meet­ing with.

“These advi­so­ry coun­cils are work­ing groups that are  issue focused and goal ori­ent­ed. I want my con­stituents to have a voice in Austin and these advi­so­ry coun­cils will enable that. I’m ask­ing folks that have an issue they care about, to join me on one of these Coun­cils and get to work on prob­lem solv­ing and deliv­er­ing for this dis­trict and state,” said Kyle Biedermann.

Kyle is cur­rent­ly in the process of set­ting up his dis­trict office, which will be locat­ed at 616 W. Main St. in Fred­er­icks­burg, as well as his office in the Capi­tol, which will be Room E1.412 in the Capi­tol Exten­sion.
