Representative Kyle Biedermann Receives Committee Assignments for 85th Legislative Session

Austin, TX (02/14/2017) — Last week, the Speak­er of the Texas House announced com­mit­tee assign­ments for the 85th Leg­isla­tive Ses­sion. State Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Kyle Bie­der­mann has been appoint­ed to the Coun­ty Affairs Com­mit­tee as well as the Juve­nile Jus­tice & Fam­i­ly Issues Committee.

“Being able to roll up my sleeves and go shoul­der to shoul­der with our local offi­cials and com­mu­ni­ties is the most excit­ing part of this job. All issues are local, and these com­mit­tee assign­ments will allow me to get per­son­al­ly involved and deliv­er for each coun­ty and com­mu­ni­ty that I rep­re­sent. From water issues, to edu­ca­tion and infra­struc­ture to the local drug cri­sis, I will lever­age my seat on these com­mit­tees to fight for all of us,” said State Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Kyle Biedermann.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Bie­der­mann has also assem­bled over a dozen Cit­i­zen Advi­so­ry Coun­cils relat­ing to spe­cif­ic top­ics and indus­tries that meet on a reg­u­lar basis. Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Bie­der­mann has encour­aged con­stituents to join his Cit­i­zen Advi­so­ry Coun­cils on issues rang­ing from water and veteran’s affairs, to bor­der secu­ri­ty and tourism.
