Rep. Biedermann Urges Governor Abbott and Appeals to Texans to Save The Alamo

December 11, 2019

San Antonio, TX (12/10/19) — State Representative Kyle Biedermann has called on Governor Abbott and all Texans to protect the Cenotaph, the monument to our brave defenders of the Alamo in San Antonio. Rep. Biedermann will also join The March To Save Texas History this Saturday.

State Representative Biedermann, along with thousands of citizens and patriots, have been fighting to protect the monument to our brave defenders of the Alamo. The group has  sustained continual harassment and deception for the past two years but have not given up hope. General Land Office Commissioner Bush and San Antonio Mayor Nirenberg have demanded that the Cenotaph be dismantled and moved off the Alamo battlefield where these men fought and shed their blood for Texas independence. Biederamnn and this brave group of defenders has answered their demand with vigilance and perseverance, and their voices have not been silenced.

In a letter to Governor Abbott, Representative Biedermann appealed to him, “In the name of liberty, patriotism, and everything that is dear to Texas, to join with us to stop the removal of the Cenotaph from the Alamo battlefield.”

This Saturday, December 14 in San Antonio Biedermann will join The March To Save Texas History. The march will start at 1PM at the Main Plaza and will end at Veterans Park. Biedermann is calling all concerned Texans to join us this Saturday to Save our Texas History.

Biedermann continued, “I again appeal to you to protect and defend the sanctity of this monument. We must never forget the honor that is due to the defenders of the Alamo that bravely fought and shed their blood on that sacred ground for Texas independence.”
