“Gov­er­nor Abbott declared that Texas is now a pub­lic health dis­as­ter, and has issued an exec­u­tive order imple­ment­ing CDC stan­dards statewide: No gath­er­ings larg­er than 10 peo­ple, all gyms, nurs­ing homes and schools will be closed. Restau­rants and bars will be closed except for take-out or deliv­ery until fur­ther notice. This exec­u­tive order begins Fri­day at mid­night and will expire April 3rd, with the poten­tial of renew­al and exten­sion.
