Austin, TX (02/14/2017) — Last week, the Speaker of the Texas House announced committee assignments for the 85th Legislative Session. State Representative Kyle Biedermann has been appointed to the County Affairs Committee as well as the Juvenile Justice & Family Issues Committee.
“Being able to roll up my sleeves and go shoulder to shoulder with our local officials and communities is the most exciting part of this job. All issues are local, and these committee assignments will allow me to get personally involved and deliver for each county and community that I represent. From water issues, to education and infrastructure to the local drug crisis, I will leverage my seat on these committees to fight for all of us,” said State Representative Kyle Biedermann.
Representative Biedermann has also assembled over a dozen Citizen Advisory Councils relating to specific topics and industries that meet on a regular basis. Representative Biedermann has encouraged constituents to join his Citizen Advisory Councils on issues ranging from water and veteran’s affairs, to border security and tourism. Anyone interested in joining should contact Kyle’s office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
